Life principle #3

Life principles from our founder, Dr. Ananthi Jebasingh

It is a joy to contact you through this email. As I eagerly look forward to coming to US to meet with you and brief you in person about how the children are developing in academics and character I would like to share the fifth life principle which is in Proverbs 3:13-20.

Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.

Find wisdom and gain understanding. How? Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. When there is no fear of God or God is not understood in the proper way, it boomerangs as lack of wisdom. When we do not commit ourselves to the Lord, again our own understanding takes the upper hand. This is a daily struggle in life. It is a life long process to gain true wisdom which moulds our life. Every situation we face brings us closer to being Christ like in life so that when finally we are taken up to be with him, we will be like him.

May the Lord our God, Jesus our Savior give us this wonderful privilege.

Life principle #2

Life principles from our founder, Dr. Ananthi Jebasingh

From Proverbs Chapter 3:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

When we depend on our own scientific thinking and enterprising skills come the injunction “trust in the Lord.” Not only ‘trust’ but also acknowledge! A very difficult proposition in these days of knowledge outbursts!

The result: our paths are made smooth and straight! When we go through the nuances of life and are often baffled where to turn and what road to choose, this life principle is like lowering an anchor in the troubled tossed sea of life and finding rest in the storm.

This is what we teach the children who newly put their trust in the Lord.

We, in India pray for every one of you there supporting and loving the children. May His abiding presence be the anchor in your life.

Life principle #1

Life principles from our founder, Dr. Ananthi Jebasingh

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. (Pro. 3: 3 and 4)

God expects us to exercise love and faithfulness in all our real life situations. Noah loved God and was faithful in obeying His commands. Jonah loved God but was not faithful in obeying Him. He could not show love to the sinful Ninevites! Sin is all around us. We need to hate the sin but not the sinner. We have to follow Jesus’ example. Faithfulness is to be first towards God and then to man.

When I heard of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, I searched the newspapers in New Delhi. Just one out of the 10 had reported the tragedy. The next day though all the sad stories, one line stood out clear. “The Haitians have just one thing to be thankful for: that they are next door to the United States of America!” Your love and faithfulness is known to the world.
